Gavrio is the port of Andros. Kymothoi rooms and pool bar is amphitheatrically built above the port in the Ano Gavrio area, just 1 minute by car. In the area there are several taverns, restaurants and cafes within a short distance. To the north of Gavrio there are several picturesque villages such as Amolochos, Varidi, Makrotantalos etc.
It is 8 km from Batsi, 32 km from Chora and 38 km from Ormos Korthiou and the well-known beach “Tis Grias to Pidima”.
In Chora you will admire the aristocratic architecture of the old mansions, you will wander through the market and the picturesque alleys, but you will also have the opportunity to visit museums with important collections such as the Goulandris Museum of Modern Art, Kydoneiaios and the Andros Archaeological Museum.
On the south side on the route to Batsi, there are several beaches, the most famous of which are those of Agios Petros and Psili Ammos, which also have a blue flag.
To the north and northeast at a relatively short distance are the beach of Felos, Vlyhada, Zorgos, Vitali and several more.
